I’ve been really busy lately. Some stuff has come up. I won’t be able to reply to the comments from the past couple of posts so really sorry on that one. >.<//

But from now on I’m trying to get away from being so lazy and I’ve been putting more effort into… well… pretty much everything lately.

Not only is my Summer already packed with things I’m being signed up for against my will but more things keep popping up. I admit… I was looking forward to just absolutely… nothing to be on my mind.

Graphics

I actually started making graphics this April, I’m pretty sure. I wanted to make my own sets for websites without having to request. Because then I’d feel all weird about requesting for someone to make me something. That’s just another train of thought of mine.

But anyway~!

I downloaded a ton of new brushes and I’m so happy with how much progress I’ve made. ;3;

Summer Blog Theme

Now I’ve been going on and off for a Summer theme for I don’t know how long. I think I finally found one that fit. All thanks to a certain show coming out this Summer. It’ll be, and this is official; “Starry Nights”

I decided on this one by thinking about Summer. When I think of Summer, I think of the nights. How you can stay up late and hang out with friends as long as you want, and how you just feel kind of… free. Plus, I need to do something with the Chapter 27 splash page for Shugo Chara. And~ Sora no Manimani just requires a banner. Hands down.

I’m trying to think of a third banner right now. I have a few things in mind. One of them is a Munto image, to be exact, but I’m not completely sure just yet. I have plenty of time though.

And that’s all for now. I’ve been un-active a bit but from now on I’m just going to give it my all. ^^;

Next post should be Weekly Anime tomorrow. I’m excited for it. The episodes have been pretty good this week. :’D

It’s not completely lame. Not cliche at all. It’s exciting. It’s not all about romance. It’s full of mystery and it’s so creepy!

And UMG the cover page is awesome this month. Card theme FTW.

Ugh. WHO IS MANABE?

I really need to know. He can’t be the king. Well duh. He isn’t. I’m not even sure if I know who the king is. It’s so confusing. >.>//

I had a theory that Arisa was the king. But I’ll get to that later~!

Well whatever. Manabe confuses me up to this point. So because of that, he officially annoys me. Reveal yourself already, Manabe! I don’t want to hate you because you’re kind of cool! I find it weird how I’m talking all about Manabe when Takeru is the only one of this page…!?

I hope this manga goes on for a long time. I don’t want it to end up like a certain series where it has run out of time and too many questions still need to be answered. >_>;

No wrong~! Manabe isn’t the king. AGH.

On another note, just to discuss the characters a bit…

Tsubasa is cool. Really. Demon Princess. A good shoujo heroine. I’m not going to go into a rant about how I hate two certain really cliche shoujo heroines (clue… cat ears, mermaid tail) … but Tsubasa is far from that. She’s awesome going in and trying to figure out what is going on at Arisa’s school. It’s admirable.

Arisa is… well. I’m not sure yet. If she turns out to be the king that would be FFFFFFF awesome. 8D

But for now I’m not sure. She seems to be hiding something. Whatever that is, it’ll make my opinion change. For now, she’s just the normal cute, perfect little girl who jumped off the side of a building. Yeah~ Not much of an impression. Though I admit, she’s hard to color. I think I’ll stick to coloring lighter haired characters. XDDD

Mariko is just a normal little best friend character… except for her obsessive creepy side. I swear. She’ll do anything for the king. She reminds me of Rena from Higurashi.

Already talked about Manabe. Tsubasa’s friend, Takeru, is okay. Don’t have much of an opinion too. I’m glad he’s helping though. That’s kind of cool~

Ohhh~ Manabe. What are you doing hiding that stuff in your house hmmm?

I think Manabe should just FFFFFF tell everyone who he is now. >_>// I’m being a brat, I know.

Hmm…. Manabe is pretty attractive. I have a feeling what direction the romance aspect of this manga is going in. Kind of predictable. Still…

No he’s not~! On the other hand, that looks like a fun scan to color.

All of the text messages and notes and happy things said to Arisa… the classmates just buttering her for more wishes granted. This is probably the reason why everyone adores and loves her, and how she became popular so quickly. =3

And we have to take into account;

“You don’t know their secret. You don’t know my secret.”

Her secret being that exactly? Her reason for falling off the building —> because it evolved into more than she would have thought.

Arisa is still the king. Yep. But then… she’s in the hospital, right? She can’t be doing those things from the hospital, hm? Plus… the silhouette at the end of this chapter looks like… a boy with short hair.

I think Arisa is the king. But oh no~ She isn’t doing the dirty work herself. It is none other than the boyfriend. He is the one going around performing the deeds.

Makes sense? BUT OH MY EFFIN GAWD. DOES THE BOYFRIEND’S CARD UP THERE MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU?

This kind of thing makes me go;

“If I was in Tsubasa’s situation, I’d either give up and leave Arisa to her life, or run away scared.”

Unfortunately, I’m not much of a demon princess. So maybe that job should be left up to someone else.

I knew something like this was coming when I first read this manga. I suspected it right from the moment Arisa got that dark “not good face” screentone over her eyes when Tsubasa mentioned Arisa beign perfect. In fact, I knew something like this was going to happen when I read the summary which told about the “Arisa Sonoda is a traitor” thing.

I had no idea what was going on when I read the first king time scene though. Ah~ But I knew something good was coming up. This is about half of the reason I like Arisa this much. Fushuuuuu~

“As expected, Manabe didn’t come to school today…”

Well I need a reason for this coincidence too. Manabe~ Stop being so suspicious! >_>// I’m going to start suspecting you. =<

Why would someone want cancel the athletic festival though? o.o;; Those things are fun. We just had one at our school today, but it was Olympic type sports. It was so much fun~ @^@

Ohoho~ Now what is this?

Not only is Tsubasa wrong again sorry Tsubasa but major gasp! Instead of the normal shoujo thing where the boy falls on top of the girl or vice versa, and they share one of those realization moments, it’s Tsubasa totally owning Manabe and acting all awesome.

Points for awesome not cliche demon princess heroine Tsubasa! And points for Manabe for not being the king. At least that gets rid of one of the options for who he could be.

Plus… this way lets me blog more shows. The shows I don’t have too much of an opinion or bias on yet. Compared to Shugo Chara, which I have been reading since it started, a show that has been going on for six or seven weeks can’t really live up to those standards. But~!

Since I still want to blog some of them, this is easier. =3 So pretty much, Hatsukoi gets the leading screen cap this week. It was my favorite out of the five this week. <3

Eden of the East – Episode 6

Okay. Screw talking about plot development and whatever for this post. I’m going 100% fan-girl mode~ It’s so much easier to blog these kind of shows like that. Shugo Chara would be the one I’d talk about plot on. But for this, I really don’t care anymore.

Kyaaaaa~! Akira! Is this guy the coolest anime character to ever live or what? Okay seriously though. I just knew that I’d like him right from the first episode.

…

Now I am not referring to his… nakedness. o.o But he’s so cool~ Gah. I think his hair is awesome. I know that sounds weird but its true! It’s so floppy and cool~ Plus he’s so CUTE. <3 His home being at the mall… too cool. His entrance there was win.

I really see Honey & Clover every time I watch this show. That might be what is making me feel so good and pleased with it. But whatever~

Back to Akira. Really~ He’s so cool. I love his seiyuu. I just love him. Such a fitting voice.

I think I like Micchon the second best. She’s so quiet and little and kind of tsun-tsun-ish. Gah~ She’s so smart too.

Saki is really cute. Her style reminds me so much of the Honey & Clover art. I need to watch the anime for that now~!

The Shiratori lady… I don’t care for her at all. She creepy me out. Gahhhh~ I’m going to have nightmares. >.<// Put on some clothes lady!

Hatsukoi Limited – Episode 6

OMG MAJOR FAN GIRL EPISODE.

KusudaxKei became my official OTP for Hatsukoi. Set in stone here~ I felt so bad for Kusuda in this episode. I like Kei and all, but damn. She was so mean at first. She’s also quite tsun-tsun about Kusuda. So I like that~! Plus her hair is amazing. Her eyes are cute. She’s just cute in general.

Kusuda is hilarious. He’s awesome and funny. I don’t know why I like him so much. ^^;

But Ayumi and Sogabe make the best creepy obsessed stalker team ever~! Hahaha. That part was funny. Poor Zaitsu. I don’t think he knows what he’s in for.

I’m surprised I grew to like this show this much. Really. I heard so many… not good reviews about it from people? I guess? But I like it. Sometimes I just need a good romance school type show like this. Plus… Christmas episode was cute. I love how Kusuda ended up buying the gloves in the end. I can’t wait for the confession scene~ Gah.

K-On! – Episode 7

Ah so cute~ K-On is so moe and cute. I like how I like all of the characters equally now. No, I take that back. I like Tsumugi a little more than everyone else. But as I’ve mentioned before, she needs that extra love. She doesn’t get enough. :<

What’s with all of the Christmas episodes though? XDDD

Awwww…. this one was so cute. The flashback in the beginning was adorable. Yui is so hopeless. XDDD

And UI~! She’s so cute. I want to be more like Ui. She looks like such a nice mature younger sister. I can’t help but forget she’s the younger one everytime she’s on screen. That’s how mature she is. Of course, Yui being not as mature contributes to that. But still~

Mio was so cute and shy in this episode. I hope she doesn’t get too tsundere. Ritsu is hilarious and funny. I like her a lot. But GAH~! Mugi~! <3333

Her conversation with Mio about gaining weight was so funny. Apparently, no matter how much Yui eats, she doesn’t gain weight. XDDD Lucky girl. If I ate a ton, I’d gain weight. Fortunately, I normally don’t have the stomach to eat much of anything. I’m too tiny to begin with. o.o;

Enough off topic-ness though. I’m glad I’m blogging this show again. :’D

Saki – Episode 7

Gonzo. You don’t fail to impress me here.

Saki is so awesome. This show is too cool. I never thought I’d be impressed by a show about a board game but man~! The CG in those parts is awesome. The suspense is awesome. Nodoka is too cute~ Her and her penguin. Really. Though her… chest development is a bit over the top, I still like her.

The thing I like about Yuki though is her seiyuu. Rie Kugimiya. I admit, I don’t like Rie Kugimiya that much. It’s kind of sad. She plays too many tsunderes that I end up not liking. Like Nagi from whatever that butler show is, and Louise from Zero no Tsukaima. I mean, Shana was okay. Taiga was cute.

But Rie Kugimiya as a cute hyper taco loving girl is epic win. This is why I’m hoping Yuua won’t be tsundere. I’ll like her a lot more~

But anyway.

Saki impresses me a lot. The mahjong basis is so cool~ I never thought I’d learn so much about a board game like this. I want more cool CG parts~!

Tears to Tiara – Episode 6                                 

Tears to Tiara. I’m kind of angry at you for bringing in so many new characters too fast~!

But other than that, I’m still loving this show.

It’s safe to say that Riannon, Arawn, Arthur, and Morgan are my favorites now. Oh, and that old guy Ogam. He’s so cute~!

But anyway… Limris, Ermin, Llyr, Epona… they didn’t stick out to me as much. Llyr being so pessimistic is a nice change, and the maids are pretty cute. Epona annoys the hell out of me. But I can’t say I like them as much.

I like Riannon for her having switched personalities so quickly, and being so cute and goofy when it comes to liking Arawn. That hand licking scene is still funny.      

I like Morgan because she’s crazy and energetic. I need that type of character to stay interested. Plus, she’s awesome at fighting. She’s Riannon’s kind of grumpy friends who’s just plain old weird sometimes. I kind of like that.

I like Arthur for his hilarious over protective sister complex. It’s so much fun to watch. He gets to silly when it comes to Riannon. It’s cute. Sister and brother complex characters often attract me the most because at first there is that one personality, but then the complex is thrown at you, and it’s funny. Utau, Koyoi, Ayumi’s brother dude… all of them. Like them all~ Plus Arthur is pretty cute. Ohoho~

And I like Arawn because he’s cool. He’s kind of sly and direct. He speaks his mind. He’s really attractive has an awesome seiyuu, and is a good demon king~! Yep! I can’t find anything else to go with that.

So far, this show is good. I’ll be sad when its over. But for now, I want to enjoy it.

Little tidbit for the week: For some weird out of this world reason… Lea has decided to like Lulu.

She’s really my favorite. That one scene in the Winter Age 17 arc was SO SAD. TT^TT Where she was all alone and they were all like “Merry Christmas!” and she covered her ears and teared up…

FFFFFF wow. Despite the rather… suggestive title… this manga is awesome. Really. The whole cell phone thing is cool.

This one brought me to believe that shoujo mangas like this, and Arisa, and Koko ni Iru Yo just keep on getting better and more tech-y and cooler as the years pass. They’re about really interesting things now.

But this one… you’ve gotta love it. XDDD Yukina is just too cool. Writing a cell phone novel. Pffttt.

Fiance wa Monster!?

Normally I don’t go for series by Pink Hanamori, but wow. This one is so cute. Really. JUST LOOK AT THE BISHIE.

It’s pretty cool. He’s a “monster”. Rauto is his name. But MIKU IS TOO CUTE~ Gwah.

This is a good series for the people who like comedy, romance, and a little bit of ecchi. Just a little bit. I don’t have much else to say, seeing as I’ve only read the first chapter. But read!

Honey & Clover

I fell in love with it. After reading it in Young YOU I had to read more! It’s all about art, college students, and a particularly cute girl Hagumi, who the two main characters fall in love with.

It’s so sad~ I mean, the pages are filled with weird comedy things. But the drama parts are just… Gah. They killed me. The one in the end of chapter 37… that one made me cry. I swear. What Takemoto said about Hagu was just so tragic and sad.

Plus~ The art HUMG. It’s amazing. If you watch Higashi no Eden, you’ll recognize it. =w=

Koko ni Iru Yo!

It’s so amazing that I COLORED A MANGA SCAN.

Hikage… I just want to hug her. She’s so selfless. She’s ignored by everyone. It was so sad to see her cry. I cried.

BUT Teru for the win. Really. The fact that he turned out to be… you know. That says a lot. Plus, Black Rabbit is really important to Hikage. So yes.

This one… I suggest it the most.

In fact, all of these series are amazing. Anyone who loves shoujo needs to read them. I swear. They’re good quality shoujo, with easy art to look at. You won’t be disappointed.

Who’s to say I wasn’t going to be blogging Hatsukoi Limited?

I think its funny how the shows I decide to watch on a whim are the ones I like the best.

I watched all five current episodes yesterday and fell in love with this show.

Okay. So I won’t blog it every week. But I’ll be doing five episode posts. It’s what is easiest for me at this point.

Moving on~!

Episode 1:

Can I juts go ahead and say this?

I love the art for this show. So clean and smooth and silky. I love how the eyes are drawn too. Really.

Some shows, the eyes are huge and take up a characters whole face. These eyes, though, are proper normal looking eyes. They’re a healthy size!

So anyway~

I liked this episode. Im guessing Ayumi is the main character? I was totally freaked out by Misao at first. I know I’d never date someone like him. Ugh. I tried to imagine myself in Ayumi’s shoes and I died.  -has no boy experience at all and doesn’t wish to-

The ending was sweet though. I mean, I don’t see them as a couple. I’m not going to go look up spoilers either, given, but maybe they’ll be friends. I find it funny seeing a big tough scary guy like that falling for a tiny small younger girl. 

Dang… Ayumi is strong when she needs to be though. XDDDDD

So my opinion on Ayumi… I like her. Her voice is cute too. I like her character design because its nothing too special. Sometimes that level of plain is just right. Especially for a show like this. I think that is needed.

Episode 2:

This… was a funny episode to watch. Miyuki is pretty cool too.

Well, because she’s one of those tall and beautiful characters without the fail. IE, I hate the ones who are tall and beautiful but they’re total kill joys and are mean and snobby and ruin the mood.

Miyuki, on the other hand, in cool and onee-chan like~ And she gives good advice. Misao asking her for advice was pretty cute. They make good friends. Good friends FTW!

Mamoru is ASHJLSDG;AD;;” cute. Really. He has NORMAL EYES. DX

Plus his crush on Miyuki is cute even though I don’t support him with anyone. Maybe Ayumi. Later on. But KUSUDA. I think I like him the best. His jokes were so bad but they made sense.

Episode 3:

Oh. And what is this I see? o.o

KEI! Why so pretty? TT^TT

I like Kei a lot too. Her pigtails are really cute. Kei getting the marriage proposal was funny. Even the lolicons like her~

I think I found my OTP for this show in this episode though. KeixKusuda FTW. I have no idea why I support them. That goes for a lot of couples I like. But I don’t know~ Maybe its because they argue a lot. But Kei already seems to see a mature-ish side to Kusuda?

Ack. I don’t know. I don’t~~~

On a side note: Me + sewing = fail. Really. Kudos to Kei because sewing is the hardest thing in the world for me. Just making a skirt like that would be difficult.

And UMG. Kusuda in the cheerleader outfit was win.

Episode 4:

…

If Kusuda isn’t my favorite, this girl, Koyoi, is.

She is so dang moe. Really. And her being voice by Aki Toyasaki? YES. -likes all characters voiced by Aki Toyasaki-

Koyoi’s brother complex is cute. I generally tend to find characters with those kind of complexes cute. Ahem. Utau.

I like Ayumi’s brother because of his funny sister complex.

Well~ I could go on and on about how much I like Ayumi’s brother and Miskai together as a couple, but I’ll save that for another post.

Anyway~ Koyoi’s line, “Welcome home. Would you like dinner first? Or maybe a bath?” was so cute. Her stalking her brother obsessively was cute. Misaki falling in love with Yuuji after having a lollipop stuck in her mouth was awesome. Second OTP?

I think this one was my favorite episode so far. Koyoi~~

Episode 5:

This one being my least favorite so far~~ hm.

Well, I can safely say that I like Meguru the least because glasses girls in anime are overrated. In anime. Not in real life.

Anyway. Yeah… her reason to not join the swimming club was kind of… stupid. But if she was embarrassed, I can understand that. I’m pretty sure everyone can. Well either way~

I can’t see anyone falling for Terai. He’s just too creepy. I mean, I guess I understand how he treated Meguru differently, but he’s so ugly. :/ And now I sound like Kei. shotshotshot

BUT~ Even if I liked this episode the least, it wasn’t terrible. In fact, I don’t hate any of the episodes so far. They’re all very fun to watch. I’m sticking with this show. The art is good. That kind of thing tends to get me to like a show. I mean, shows with bad art, or art that turns me away, are the ones I stay away from. Stuff like Dragon Ball Z or Yugioh whatever… that art plain out scares me and is really extreme. Hence me not watching them. And because I don’t enjoy guy shows like that. DX

So there. Hatsukoi Limited. It’ll be easy to blog. I like it~

Plus… I’m excited for the Kei and Kusuda episode next week. Ohohoho~

Buuuuu~

Just when one thing ends another thing starts

Hiatus is over.

But now I’m sick.

TT^TT

I hate being sick.

I hate it because I feel so weak and everything I do is painful.

When I get up my head feels dizzy and starts to ache. I can’t swallow because my throat hurts too much. My nose is stuffy so I have to breath through my mouth, which makes my throat hurt even more.

The worst part is that when I go to bed, I have to breath out of my mouth. But then my throat gets dry and starts to hurt. And then I hav to drink water. But then I run out of water. And the cycle just goes back around and around.

Everything is in pain. My back is normally in tons of pain to begin with, having scoliosis, but it hurts even more now. Even if I scratch myself or poke myself, I’m extra sensitive. My eyes are so red from rubbing them because I’m tired, but I can’t sleep because I’m just up sneezing and drinking water.

Then, on top of my ears being sensitive normally, every noise I hear is amplified. The noise of a dog barking, which is a noise I normally can’t stand hearing, is even worse. I just want to cringe.

And then there is the fact that blowing my nose so much makes my nose red and dry and it stings so much. 

G-gao.

But anyway~

Hiatus is over and I’m happy~ Taking a break was good for me. I’m glad I didn’t have to blog a certain episode because I’d have nothing to say about it otherwise. But next week looks okay for Shugo Chara and Tears to Tiara. Plus I have a good weekly feature for this Friday. =3

I don’t think I’ll be going to school tomorrow. But I need rest right now more than anything.

Long story short: I hate getting sick.

Weekend hiatus. Yes. I have to be present for my little sister’s birthday party, and the next day, I will be going to a birthday party for my friend.

Oh~ That time of year again?

Yes. The slowest, most boring drawn out time of the school year where I feel extra tsun-tsun because of testing. Takes up too much time and stresses everyone. And I feel sorry for those who have to AP test. I’m only a year or two away from that.

I guess being in middle school must be easier than High School. But you tell me. All I know is that in a year from now, during my first year of high school, I’ll be sharing the pain instead of wondering… how much more can testing annoy me?

Rwar.

Pffftttt.

^ Because testing here is really silly.

So. So. Silly.

It’s called STAR testing here in California. California Standardized Testing and Reporting.

It’s so annoying. Year after year. So so stupid. Everything has to be exact and precise. Everything is carefully planned out. You are not allowed to open your testing booklet until your teacher tells you that you can open to page three. Oh, and then you have to fill out the sample questions, while bubbling in the bubble carefully. Because one stray mark and your whole test will be marked wrong. And the sample questions? The easiest questions that have nothing to do with the much more difficult subjects you will be tested on.

You are required to have a No. 2 pencil. Only. And by the way, if you finish your test early, you’re not allowed to doodle. Or work on homework. Or read. Because that would distract the students still testing, and they would work harder so they could finish like you. And then they wouldn’t do as well.

There is one carefully planned out break between parts 1 and 2 of each test. Yes. The tests really are that long. You are not allowed to leave the class room during the breaks. They lock the doors. After each test is completed… there is another one. I have to test on four subjects over the course of two long drawn out weeks.

The up side? We get out at 12:30. Every day. At least that’ll make it more bearable.

Agh. I have no energy left for ranting today.

Saki is dropped because I’m busy, and have no time to be blogging three shows every weekend. Especially if I can’t take the proper screen caps for Saki. -sigh-

It was good while it lasted. I ran out of time for Tears to Tiara last weekend. I was very busy. But I will not be dropping that show, thank you very much. I’d drop Shugo Chara before dropping Tears to Tiara.

Okay so the end. I felt like ranting. But ohoho~ that isn’t even much of a rant. I have a rant coming up. I’ve been pretty angry by how people in fandoms act lately. So rant time? I’ll save up my energy  for that. 

May is going to be such a long long month~ Ah~~~~~

Summer can’t come fast enough. Summer is going to be amazing since I’m going to be out at a water park on the last day of school, and right after I’m leaving for DC for a week. I’ll have drama camp and junior guards and I’ll be able to sleep in and blog more and…. buuuuu~

Going to Japan the Summer after this will be the best. But this Summer… needs to come. Nao. D<
